School Counselors should be Accountable and held Responsible

School Counselors should be held accountable and held responsible for making sure that students have adequate resources for performing Community Services in order to graduate from High School.  Right now, in at Laurel High School in Laurel, Maryland. Prince George's County Maryland. Most of the High School Seniors are not graduating due to the fact that they lack community service hours, despite their good grades. the problem is lack of resources available to the students. Also the students have nowhere to go to perform Community Service Hours.  Some Non-Profits are not opening their doors to out kids.  What can we do? This is how a whole community falls under crime, drugs and poverty. It starts with our children. They are our future! If our future is being stalled right before our eyes what do you think will happen in the next 5-10 years?
